When Enrique and his daughter began LEAF, Enrique needed his GED, and wanted his daughter Esperanza to prepare for elementary school. They embarked on a 9-month trek that included preschool, adult education, parenting classes, intergenerational activities, field trips and home visits. They were successful because they worked hard TOGETHER and with A Stepping Stone guiding their way.
