DUET: PARTNERS IN HEALTH & AGING Duet provides compassion, dignity and hope to our community by promoting health and well-being through vitally needed services to homebound adults, family caregivers, faith communities and grandparents raising grandchildren. Your generosity helps Duet deliver free-of-charge services to homebound adults, family caregivers, faith communities and grandfamilies. Duet pairs homebound adults who can no longer drive yet wish to remain living in their homes with volunteers who help them with grocery shopping, transportation to medical appointments, friendly visits and computer training. Duet helps family caregivers and grandparents raising grandchildren through support groups, respite, workshops and personalized guidance. Duet trains nurses to develop programs that promote health in body, mind and spirit in their faith communities and the wider community. duetaz.org DEVEREUX ADVANCED BEHAVIORAL HEALTH ARIZONA Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health Arizona is a 501(c)3 nonprofit Qualifying Charitable Organization whose mission is: changing lives by unlocking and nurturing human potential for people with emotional, behavioral or cognitive differences. Tax credit donations from our generous friends help support the more than 5,000 at-risk youth we serve every year in Arizona. These traumatized children, between newborn to 17 years of age, are receiving services in one of our many programs including: traditional foster care, therapeutic foster care, residential treatment center, autism services, respite and prevention programs and outpatient counseling services. Through the generosity of donors like you, we’re able to offer back-to-school supplies, holiday gifts and basic essential hygiene items to those who have been abused through no fault of their own. The unemployment rate for adults trained at Foundation for Blind Children is 7 percent. The national unemployment rate for visually impaired adults is 70 percent. To have that level of success, the work starts at birth. Services for infants are provided at home with the goal of educating parents to facilitate optimal learning and development of their child. Certified teachers of the visually impaired teach concepts that most children learn by imitation. Your contribution will fund the infant program at Foundation for Blind Children, which serves 200 blind babies and their families each year. seeitourway.org 2018-19 TAX CREDIT GIVING GUIDE | FRONTDOORS MEDIA 13
