NEW LIFE CENTER New Life Center is the largest domestic violence shelter in the state. Our mission is to help eliminate domestic and sexual violence through support services, education and expertise. New Life Center (NLC) has a 104-bed emergency domestic violence shelter, which includes a children’s program and trauma-informed advocacy for up to 120 days. In 2020, NLC launched its innovative animal program, Protecting Animals with Victims (PAWS), which allows survivors’ pets to stay in their room/casita with them while in our emergency shelter. New Life Center’s robust outreach program includes mobile advocacy to survivors of domestic violence, sexual violence and human trafficking. New Life Center provides a comprehensive program using the trauma-informed care model to support families in starting independent lives free from violence. newlifectr.org Tax Code 20559 SOJOURNER CENTER Sojourner Center supports individuals, families and pets in overcoming the impact of domestic and sexual violence, one life at a time.
