AREA AGENCY ON AGING The Area Agency on Aging partners with the community to create and provide innovative programs and services to enrich, improve and empower the lives of older adults. The Area Agency on Aging, a private nonprofit organization, helps older adults thrive through life’s journey by responding to changing lifestyles and unmet needs. Helping over 120,000 Maricopa County residents annually, the Agency serves adults 60 and older, family caregivers of older adults, adults ages 18-59 with physical disabilities and long-term care needs, and persons 18 years of age and older diagnosed with HIV/AIDS. The Agency also serves many special populations, including elder refugees, persons with behavioral health conditions and survivors of late-life domestic violence, sexual assault and elder abuse. Through our Stove to Table Program, Advance delivers healthy meals and important information about food and nutrition to low-income seniors, helping them achieve the healthiest, most independent lives possible. Every Tuesday, we deliver 200 fresh and nutritious homemade meals straight from our kitchen to seniors living in low-income housing across Maricopa County. Our staff and volunteers cook these meals using fresh, locally grown ingredients, then deliver them door-to-door to seniors in need. BENEVILLA Benevilla enriches the lives of West Valley residents by serving older adults, adults with disabilities, children and the families that care for them. Benevilla promotes health and independence by providing supportive services to community neighbors while recognizing that caring for the needs of older adults reaches beyond the individual to the entire family. Our services include Life Enrichment Adult Day centers with specialized programming for those unable to care for themselves (memory loss, Parkinson’s, stroke survivors) while providing much-needed respite for family caregivers, free home services allowing homebound older adults to remain independent in their own homes (assisted transportation, grocery shopping, friendly visitors and more), caregiver support groups and resources, preschool and childcare, and Benefitness Adaptive Gym. benevilla.org Tax Code 20493 DIANA GREGORY OUTREACH SERVICES Diana Gregory Outreach Services enriches lives through healthy eating and focuses on increasing access to fresh produce, nutrition education and caring social interactions among seniors and veterans. Diana Gregory Outreach Services has been serving the disadvantaged, high-poverty community in Maricopa County since 2009. Our organization focuses on alleviating food insecurity and strengthening health and racial equity by providing access to nutritious food and education with a delivery model to reach the target population.
