HORSENSE PROGRAM Horsense is run by the nonprofit Health World Education, whose mission is to promote health and safety education by providing children with the information they need to build healthy lives. Horsense provides a dynamic equestrian youth riding camp designed for students aged 8-11 who otherwise would not have the opportunity to interact with horses. The five-week-long program is held every Saturday at MacDonald’s Ranch in Scottsdale. Students learn first aid, desert survival skills and team building, along with classes on substance abuse prevention. The program engages children to learn about respect, responsibility and leadership skills. The camp is run by a diverse group of staff and volunteers, who provide a wonderful learning experience and help campers develop their character and build self-esteem. healthworldedu.org Tax Code 22251 YOUTH DEVELOPMENT Qualified Charitable Organizations | $421 per Individual / $841 per Married Couple 56 FRONTDOORS MEDIA | TAX CREDIT GIVING GUIDE FUTURE FOR KIDS Future for KIDS’ mission is to provide mentor-driven, out-of-schooltime programs and camps that focus on academics, athletics and ethics to improve the lives of youth who face adversity. Youth today are navigating through a distressing event almost daily, whether through social media exposure, an ill loved one, bullying, abuse, neglect or other adversities. Having a positive and creative outlet and the guidance and support of an adult mentor can profoundly affect a child’s resilience, self-confidence and opportunity. Looking through a camera lens can help a child reframe their outlook on themselves and their future. KIF connects with kids through partner organizations and foster care agencies and serves them through camps, workshops, After School Photography Mentoring Program, Grads in Focus Program and Junior Mentors Leadership Program. kidsinfocus.org Tax Code 20929 YOUTH DEVELOPMENT Qualified Charitable Organizations | $421 per Individual / $841 per Married Couple TAX CREDIT GIVING GUIDE | FRONTDOORS MEDIA 57
